To the uninitiated and non-Spanish speakers amongst us, these words may have little meaning. And yet to anyone who’s completed one of the world’s oldest pilgrimages, the mention of El Camino de Santiago is enough to stir up a plethora of emotions.
Several weeks ago leading up to October 31st, it suddenly seemed apt to go and investigate the abandoned remains of Upminster Old Chapel, now being restored after the discovery of WW2 bombs.
