Vintage Tractor Seat Repurposed as Bar Stool in Edinburgh Pub

(All images by Camille Moran)

It wasn’t the most comfortable seat in the world, and as a result I stood up and took notice. There in front of me was a vintage tractor seat repurposed as a bar stool, an oddity among the otherwise unremarkable furniture of Edinburgh’s Black Cat pub on Rose Street.

The Black Cat is a fun, relatively new venue among Edinburgh’s established drinking dens, and the tractor seat marks a refreshing break from mainstream bar furniture and a welcome example of adaptive reuse.

Be sure to check out the Black Cat’s Facebook page, and (for those who enjoy vintage tractors) feast your eyes on the below photo taken in Boulder, CO in 2011.
