Labelled The Doors of Perception after Aldous Huxley’s 1954 book, this image originally posted on Flickr presents a somewhat incongruous scene where a new door, filing cabinet and umbrella stand adorn what looks to be an abandoned factory building. Out of place certainly, yet these objects offer an interesting contrast with the dilapidation of the room and leave the viewer questioning which side of the wall they’re looking at.
