This slightly haunting cluster of buildings isn’t your average ghost town or abandoned village. In fact, when these photos were taken the buildings – at Tamarak Resort in Idaho – had never been inhabited or even completed. Construction stalled during the economic meltdown of 2008 and the resort ceased operating in 2009. Despite its poor fortune, the resort did reopen in December 2010 and is hopefully on the road to financial recovery.
